In Her Eyes

She stares ahead
eyes wet with tears
her gaze seems far
she looks tired and lost
in thoughts known only to her.
Same eyes which shone, so bright in may
shows such sadness today
A heart hurt, and without peace, crying out even as she kneels
in an act of prayer.
I can tell just by the look in her eyes.
