Birds Can Always Sing

You think that life has past you by
But stop and think each day
A new experience is born
Potential friends along the way
You want the spice, the fun and laughs
The brighter side to living
Yet, these things will follow suite
If spent in joy of giving
I know that life is serious but should have moments too
When carefree is the heart from worry
When present doubts are few
But, how can one appreciate, the laugh without the tear?
The up without the down, the joy without the fear?
The sun without subsequent rain
The winter without spring
So man must dwell with misery
Yet? Birds can always sing.
