Memories Before The End Poem by Anonymous Person

Memories Before The End

Rating: 5.0

In a dark jungle, I saw this hart
There stood a knight not much afar
Seeing the hart that I loved with all of my heart
I went to protect it with my bare hands
As I couldn't bear the pain that I had.

As I saw the knight's glare
I suddenly heard the gunshot's flare
Remembering all the happy memories since the start
Knowing that this would be the end that would keep us apart.

Eating a piece of cake in a time of peace
While silently seeing the sea
In a flash, it all became a blur
Tears rolling down its face
Not able to hold back its tears.

Again I saw the knight's glare
Suddenly hearing another gunshot's flare
Seeing the hart that I loved with all of my heart get shot
I couldn't bear the pain in my heart
Laying on the ground together
Us both knowing that the end was near.

Happy and sad
A flow of emotions
Knowing it was my end
But together with my friend
After all, we would either live or die together
That was how my vow was fulfilled.

As I was remembering our memories before the end
Tears rolled down my face just thinking about the hart that I loved with all of my heart
Suddenly everything turned black
This was how I knew the end was here.
