Angels Say Poem by Tiernan Booth

Angels Say

Rating: 3.5

Up in the clouds, I believe there's a crowd of Angels.
They watch over you and me,
Wherever we may be!
To the good lord they have vowed,
To look over the land and the see,
To look over thee.

They see all your pain, they see all your strengths,
They see that you try,
When you feel out of time.
They see when we fight and they see when we cry,
Cry on each others shoulders,
Because it's the only place,
The only place we feel safe,
Though it's just as dangerous as any other,
They see when we wonder,
Why even bother.

Up in the sky, Where the heavens rise,
Where the sun shines bright,
Even though it's night,
The stars light the sky.
When the sun needs a break,
But the Angels in the sky keep us safe,
The angels in the sky, they stay,
The Angels say,
It'll be okay,
The Angels know just what to say,
No matter the day,
You've experienced pain,
I don't want to explain,
No not today,
Todays pain.
I won't say.
Today.
