You sit there and stare
I guess its only fair

Since you caught my eye

It started out so good
Even though he was from the hood
He made me laugh and smile
Even though he was just a child

They drive by
And see me on the street
They frown like their better then me
...

Meaningless words
What is a word
But air in the sky
...

Sometimes I wonder where i would be
If i never took those roads
If i just went forward
Never met all those people
...

I use to think I was an angel
But my wings have been tainted
Black as coal
Dark as night
...

Anger courses through my blood
While tears fill my eyes
I'm knee deep in this mud
I knew he was just a spy
...

He died for us
But was it really for us
We didnt ask for help
I wonder what he felt
...

Hold in your pain
until your far away
then let it rain
down your face
...

Why cry when you can smile?
Why run when you can walk?
