Angel Wings Poem by Abby Rose

Angel Wings

Rating: 5.0

I use to think I was an angel
But my wings have been tainted
Black as coal
Dark as night

I've fallen from the wings of grace
Because I fell in love
With a thug

No one sees these wings
It hurts so bad I want to scream
They see me as a perfect angel
To bad i've done popped that bubble

My heart turns cold
Then everything starts to unfold
I'm left to freeze
In this place where people are free

Then a man steps out of the darkness
And gives me a hand
I guess you never know where you will land
He helped me see the light
Now he's the love of my life

Now my wings are white
And I don't have to fight
To live a wonderful life.
