For all of nine poems, now this is my tenth,
I have written, with hesitant breath
You see I’m a rookie without a writer’s past
...
Let me hold your heart
But only for a second
For if it any longer
I’m certain a Lovers death
...
Propped against a majestic pillar and stairs of granite
Overlooking a plush courtyard of green,
With shadows of Maple, Oak, and Pine
It fills with the souls of academia
...
Take my hand, and let me lead you through the shadows,
And I will show you friendship
Take my hand, and walk by my side and let us grow together
...
Velvet pools of yesterday
Sacred rhythms melting
Embrace blind eternity
Surrounding porcelain questions
...
Staring between shadows of dreams
Reflections inexorably obscured
Individuality forgotten
Petrified minds within the mist
...
As we walk through the hills
All plush and bright green
Sights are abound, with so many thrills
Look over there, a crisp, sparkling stream
...
