The Silent Girl

There is a girl who has ensnared my heart.
With the first glance I was wrapped in awe.
How I wish to be by her side.
To watch over this silent angel.

How I wish to speak to her,
to know what secrets in her reside.
I am compelled to try to guard her from this world.
To try and be by her side.

I am plagued with loneliness for what sins I have committed.
But when I am near her that loneliness is lifted.
In her I see true beauty, which hides from my sight.
And to her I give my blessings each and every night.

But will this silent angel, every really know.
That this shadow cast aside from the world has learned to love.
For he waits and prays that this angel,
will learn to love him in return.
