Birds

Of all of God's creations for those on his earth, to me,
Birds, butterflies and human beings are the most interesting.
Of the three named, I feel, there is most to be learned from birds.
Their homes and family life offer good teachings.
They will fight for needed food for themselves and their young.
If observed too closely, they merely flip their wings and fly away.
They do not threaten to sue, as some humans do.
They plant beauty on God's Earth.
Outside my window, I can see
A Sunflower plant, almost as tall as herds hook
And some dandelions.
Have you ever seen anything more beautiful
Than sunflowers, or dandelions, or thistles in full bloom?
God gave those on his earth quite a gift
When he created birds.
