Less Broken

With eyes that sparkle,
even in the night,
a beautiful smile
that I can't fight.
You gaze upon me,
emotions run through.
you're my baby
and I love you.
my life was empty
filled with shame,
now tiny hands matter
when spoken, your name.
a being so tender,
undying affection.
My soul renders a heart less broken.
