The Hidden Scrolls

Hidden in the Judean desert
Two thousand years out of sight
Secret teachings and wisdom
Origins of Western civilization
Christianity older than Christ
Rediscovered when Israel was reborn
Again hidden for another forty years
Hidden by powers and authorities
Keep the little people quiet
Hide the truth in myth and lies
The Dead Sea Scrolls buried again
In institutions and ivory towers
The real history unedited and uncensored
Threatening old ways and old ideas
Churches and priesthoods could fall
Hide the scrolls in obscure academia
Their true contents will change everything
What we were taught was not what was
The scrolls must be hidden again they say
The truth can't be hidden again I say
