Inside The Closet

Hello there, folks
I see you living joyfully
Out in the sun
Holding pride under the rainbow
Indeed glad for you
But oh pity me!
Joining you is impossible
A peek I took
Through this tiny hole
Alone in the closet
Sharing secrets with hard cupboards
Echoes into my own ears
Trapped in my mind
Dying inside
Armed with a blade
Nothing to carve but hey!
My mind is messed up
And my arms seem as a perfect canvas
Blames on the cat for the fresh scars
That keep thousands of stories behind
Hatred will rise
Inside the ones I love,
After the few seconds of honesty
Mom, dad, brother!
Oh my family, my god, I did not ask for this!
I did not will it
I did not accept it
I resisted, evaded, abstained until I bleed
But I reconciled
You would not believe but with my own me!
Jovial lasted for not long
The abomination, aversion, loathing and disgust
Might you express out
Bugs every parts of mind and heart
Here I am, again
Inside the closet
Petrified of coming out
For not seeking risks
Of losing whom I look up
Oh Lord, I ain't religious, not to mention saintly
But my God, I fear you, I love you with all my soul
Forgive this sinful brat but I know you made me this way
Love for thee never fades and beseech thee
Feel for me the same
Provide me strength to continue living
Inside this lonely cold little closet.
