That's you, My Dearest Friend…!
1
Is this the way my life should be,
As it has ever been with me;
...

It's not new, for her, this air,

The rhythm of iron rolling iron over;
...

I stumbled over faces many-

amongst those were both fresh and skinny;
...

…And it's just that good old twilight once again,

Bringing, through the lone window of this cubicle,

Am just another of my kind with a kindered body, soul and mind People say, am crazy & blind Oh Yes, if they so call those who to the heart are kind! Am not sad, for I've been hurt beyond tolerance, and Am not happy for I've been the most fortunate among the unfortunates Oh Am Insane! for I let my pen express what my words couldn't speak; Oh Am Insane! For feeling your heart by lookin through your eyes... Am everywhere, in the ebb n flow of life.. But Still Am Unique, for I stay transcendent to life; Am the same in he, you and me; And Am Still unique, for Am the infinite in the finites.. ------------- Computer Science Engineer. That's You, My Dearest Friend …!

That's you, My Dearest Friend…!
1
Is this the way my life should be,
As it has ever been with me;
From the fiery lightning what once had struck me to blues,
To the heavenly smile, what has blossomed today? !

In the times, when my kin raged at me, wild,
Whenever I sat down, and cried like a child,
Whenever the life out there, looked at me, puzzled,
And whenever, alone, to the stars I talked,
There was a shoulder to lean on and weep,
The soulder of the one who knew my self so deep..
2
Beyond the heaven did I fly and fly,
When some fantacies excited me high,
Fulfilment of likes, was my only try,
With castles made in air, I reached for the sky,
But took long to realize, I'd rather die!

Like a bird, that's been just shot down,
My dreams were broken, and spattered down,
Brittle was my heart, had it ever been left free,
But, wasn't it safely caught, by a hand that I could see? !

Lone like a cactus, was I turned into, once;
Getting pricked every moment, by my own lost hopes,
Thirsty as a desert, was me for love,
But I was alone, less my own shadow!

3
The things got changed, a day rose bright;
The wind that blew, didn't hue my sight,
Seen in the zenith, was a heart wide open;
To pluck my thorns away,
and bring joy all around to happen,
To help me with a bit of courage to stay,
And live the life, my own way;
It was you, my friend; I could hear you say,
'Panic now not, This 's your day! '.

You wiped my tears, mended my heart,
I trusted you, you healed my wounds,
You stood in my cheers, and in my odds,
You soaked me in a spate of affection and love,
You made me warm, made me smile,
And walked with me, in your born style!

What I'm now's only 'coz of you;
And nothing in this world, could ever be in your lieu,
Sometimes, my friend, the words are few,
And they don't seem enough, to express you!

That's you, my dear friend; when you are here,
My heart muses, 'why should I fear? ! '
