One by one the stars appear
When the sun goes down to rest
And although they seem so near
The moon weeps in loneliness
...
Purple asters and sweet nectar
As beautiful as you all are
From one to another they roam
Draining your love then heading home
...
Lonely Moon
One by one the stars appear
When the sun goes down to rest
And although they seem so near
The moon weeps in loneliness
Moon tears fall upon the howlers
But they beg her not to cry
Darkness makes suffer the flowers
That feed on strayed sparks in your eyes
When the sun comes up to shine
The moon is long forgotten
Yet somewhere in the back of your mind
Her face lies loved and begotten
So every night she shines her brightest
To over throw the stars
Using her rays to meet your gaze
Although you are so far
So next time you wish upon the moon
Your wishes shall come true
As little as you may notice
She shines only for you
