The streets can be cruel.
Flooded with guns, sex and drugs.
While you read this,
an innocent kid lies somewhere in a puddle of blood.

He sits
In a dark alleyway, he hides.
His clothes are worn and ripped,
fear in his eyes.

What are dreams?
Dreams are what give you motivation,
and bring your state of mind,
to a higher elevation.
