Another Day In Parasdise

Another day in paradise
Filled with unknown quantities 
Elaborate misfortune and drastic changes
A hundred and fifty ways to turn pages
Not a word left unspoken a leaf left unturned
Carful where you turn though it's easy to be burned

Wrap it up in virtues
Disguised in pleasant places
Hidden behind stature and familiar faces
Hard to find the truth when you spend your life looking

Discretion often certified
Avoiding been the crucified
Walking round on eggshells
Promises of wedding bells
Nothing but a lonely road
Hardly ever even heard

Best just leave me on my own 
Let me find my own way home.....
