Andrew Tiangco Poems

Waking you up to close the bar as the nightmares are becoming real
Dreadful sorry for the mammoth train of frustrations
Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling.
Dreams are becoming livid and we are so jaded
...

I'm walking down to the aisle of nothingness
Nothingness awaits me on the other side
Sickly and forsaken, your smile is contagious
Your laugh is like wine that's been aged beautifully
...

This is the end my dear, is this the end?
Pollens drifting in the wind
Nowhere else to go, away from it all
Seize the sun, swim in the moonlight
...

A gothic man in his 50's
Still sniffing heroin as he is afraid of needles
Travelling across from one side to another
Looking for a man in his 90's
...

Lush greens and hot floor
Hotdog eating parasite
Busy is the man who wanted to change
Find yourself little darling
...

Achievable standard staples
Drive boy to the ocean
You got a lipstick on your shoe
You have the velvet power in you
...

Is anybody out there? I'm coming home
All this tiredness and weariness will be gone
Is anybody out there? I'm coming home
All men must succumb to the darkness
...

Dried grass swaying horizontally and vertically in the wind
Bright sun that's yellow as the cavendish banana in the market
Sway to the left and sway to the right
The grass is free to dance to whatever the wind sways them
...

Waking you up to close the bar as the nightmares are becoming real
Dreadful sorry for the mammoth train of frustrations
Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling.
Dreams are becoming livid and we are so jaded
Here, have another glass of whiskey my dear
Aged between the war of the roses and the dawn of cosmos
What would you do so differently?
I cannot breathe and I'm living giggling with incense
Make sure to drink that one up as the crow is looking at us across the bar
How you want it? Do you really want it so badly?
Alphabet of despair is just lying on the floor
Waiting for the man to pick him up
People, quarrelling and shoving and calling each other insane
I'm haunted by an eerily creepy happy song
I'll just stay inside my room and hoping a chance will drop by
