Angelina Holmes Poems
How lovely is this winter day! The sweet cool wind to brush my cheek. I look up at the sky: blue-gray- But not at all so dark or bleak.
The Terror Soon to Come
I read and read and read and read, and hope to remember the important things. I hope and pray to be soon freed From the horrors these unspeakables bring.
Fall softly like a warm sunset. Why does the galaxy grow? The skies sleep! Sleep quietly like planets.

How lovely is this winter day!
The sweet cool wind to brush my cheek.
I look up at the sky: blue-gray-
But not at all so dark or bleak.
The clouds hid rays from blinding sun,
Thus shielding Earth from burns and stings.
And I will say once spring has come:
I loved the breeze the winter brings.
