I Love You

Those moments were rare,
But feelings were tremendous;
And every time I'd felt close to you,
I'd rejoice, because I love you.

But then I saw what my feelings could do,
How it could change everything around me and you;
How it enabled in me a metamorphosis so huge, such that,
I couldn't even tell you what it means for me to be with you.

Our lives were created apart,
Our worlds too, stayed different;
But still, every time I'd felt close to you,
I'd rejoice, because I love you.

How I wish you could understand this,
And love me for being me;
How I wish I could stand up tall, so
To make myself so worthy of you.

Its keeping this secret that kills me silently,
For with every sound of the voice that is you,
I feel the upsurge of the desire,
To tell you how much I love you.

Its my love for you and the loyalty to others,
That keeps my emotion locked in my heart; But still,
There goes some moments where I feel close to you,
And I would rejoice, because I love you.

Its hard to let go, of something I treasure every minute,
So though afar, I keep memories captivated in this heart,
And if ever you understand what I mean,
I want you to come back, and together, would want to savor this feel.

My love crushes, my loyalties remain,
Still, my feelings for you shall never change;
And always, its shall happen so, that whenever I feel close to you,
I will rejoice, because I love you! ! ! !
