Memories know no sleep
Memories come to torture you
Haunt you and
Swamp you into nightmares.

The coconut broke in a hundred bits
The droplets flew out
Felt on my face
...
I wrote a poem
And threw it in the fire
The fire charred it
And burned it to ashes,
...
Bereavement
I was not there when my father passed away,
I was not there when my mother passed away,
...
Where are the twinkling stars?
I saw in the sky yesternight?
Those tiny specks of light
That lighted my way
...
Father walked ahead,
The path was narrow,
Bushes thick grew on either side
Dark, tangled and mysterious,
In the sticky gloom of the dusk
Vaguely aware of the creeping fear
I walked behind,
My gaze locked
On his bare heels,
Barely visible in the dark.

JUST CAUSES
Our causes are just
They always say,
Champions and crusaders
...
I dare not pluck this flower
A little bee is in there
Eating his breakfast
Easy to pluck it and shake it
...
THE TALE OF THE BLACK PIG
He was not so in the beginning.
He was white
...
DISCORD or THE WALL OF SILENCE
It's a bit cold today, isn't it,
...
Memories
Memories know no sleep
Memories come to torture you
Haunt you and
Swamp you into nightmares.
Memories are your bosom companions,
Memories do not desert you ever,
Memories do not wilt and fade,
And rob you of your honey-sweet dreams.
Memories quell the storm in your mind,
Memories save you from floods of sorrow,
Memories churn your mind
And bring up the amrit* urn
Memories come in floods
And sometimes in a trickle
The floods drown you in grief
And the trickle tickle you softly.
Memories come to taunt you,
Chastise you for the fool things you did
The whiplash stings and hurts and
You twist and turn in pain.
