Apurba Bhuyan

Apurba Bhuyan Poems

Yearning to cherish myself
in a chummy eve
The house of cards is falling
Yet, I want to sit calmly
...

Cool morning breeze laments
Pierces my heart with your reminiscence.
...

A gust of greenery in the sky
Somewhere I am listening
to the raga Megh-Mallar
Raindrops are dripping
...

Transmuting into a long verse of sorrow
An island, green- finds it's place
in the sea of darkness
...

Where are you rushing
Wait for a while
And glance back
...

Inscription

Yearning to cherish myself
in a chummy eve
The house of cards is falling
Yet, I want to sit calmly
touching ardently the sun
passing over my fingers

So tender was its warmth
To ripe the bunches of grapes

This sun one day pierced my heart
From that very moment
I am not hearing the songs
inebriating my nights

Glinting on the wings of dragonfly
The sun in an eve
Lead me to the path of solace.
