Long back dating the day I first saw the world
tears flowed from the eyes of those who gave me birth.

I saw the waters
Rising to the harbours

I saw the clouds

Our India needed help
golden bird was turning to hell
foreigners were ruling
trading at high rates was a way of fooling
...

Your words should be nice
this is my advice
for the wise
also for the fools.

I wish, I had a smile
for each day
all I felt was pain
and sorry not any more
