and follow not the weathered course,

leave your troubles at the door,

a man seeks out his destiny,
in hope that he is meant to be,

searching for a sign of god,

these demons paint with ancient art,
deception on my aching heart,

a hell hound circles in my mind,
...

within my mind; an angel's light,
to guide me through the endless night,

within my heart; an angel's soul,
...

I crank it up to keep them down,
A smile to hide my secret frown,

Through searing pain and blinding light,
...

Out of the void and into your life,
Out on our own and into the strife,
Out in the world in search of a home,
Out on our own but never alone,
...

Forget me not, in face and mind,
record my life, not just my kind,
forgive the wrongs, protect the rights,
preserve the love, not just the fights.
...

Glittered gold, angelic light,
glimmers through the darkest night,
guiding those who feel its might,
down the path of hope and right.
...

Show me your face and tell me your name,
give me your hand and i'll do the same.

Show me the way and light up my life,
