I love to read poetry, write poetry, and recite poetry. I also act and sing in theatre, write novels, and run around in the rain, and do all the other things that crazy teenagers do. more »

Audrey Perniciaro Poems
Do you ever feel confused, Like, somehow you don't belong? Do you ever feel used, Like, an over sang song?
When Day’s last rays of light Fade gently into the purple maiden of night When moon's first beams Reach out to caress the land with her golden gleam
When I hear your voice When I see your face I have no other choice My heart quickens its pace
There are times in one’s life That seem so full of strife When laughter disappears Leaving only a wistful, and eerie echo in it’s place

He found her there His true love fair Staring out into the frosty air Her ebony brow

Do you ever feel confused,
Like, somehow you don't belong?
Do you ever feel used,
Like, an over sang song?
Sometimes I wonder
Why I'm here on earth
Sometimes I despise
This place I've known since birth
But then I see the sunset
In all it's golden glory
And I know I need not worry
For God is writing my story
