When I begin to miss you
Overthinking into depression..
It travels to my eyes

Her smile is brighter than the skies
No one sees past her layer

I'm up again.

I hate to say apart of me hates you.
Maybe for how you left..
Or how you are now.
And when I said I missed you
I meant the you before now.
Nothing in my mind connects the pieces together
To think I loved you through all your imperfection
And you loved me through some of mine.
I just wanna feel alright.
I'm up again.
My eyes are too tired to cry
Too dry to produce the pain I feel
And I sit.
I wait.
Until my body puts itself asleep.
