I hate the fact that I still feel this way...
I keep telling myself it will pass some day...
Honestly, it just stays in my heart...
It's even harder when we're apart...
Sometimes, it feels like I'm about to break down...
Why is it so hard? 'Cause you're always around...
What is so confusing about this all...
Is that I sit around waiting for you to call...
Knowing in my soul that things have changed...
The future of our lives has been rearranged...
My heart pleads for you to come back...
But no....you just stay there and watch....
As I slowly, steadily, fall to pieces...
Melting like a sun's damage to a Reese's...
You don't know how I feel nor anyone for that matter...
It drives me insane 'cause I try but you scatter...
You run away, huffing and puffing...
Can't tell you the truth...you're not ready 'cause you're bluffing...
Yet, I'm still here waiting...can we try something new?
I think of this everyday...yes, i'm still in love with you.
