(THE LOVED comes into the BEDROOM to shake THE LOVER from sleep)

Scene 2 (hopeless)

(the LOVER is in the BATHROOM. the LOVER steps out of the shower and wraps up in a towel. the LOVER is becoming transparent, and discovers this while facing the mirror. the LOVER grabs the phone and dials)

Scene 3 (the Apology)

(THE LOVED enters the COFFEE SHOP where THE LOVER has arranged for them to meet. THE LOVED sits down at THE LOVER's table, and THE LOVER immediatly starts in.)

black....
cold...swirling...twirling
dancing....
every thing so complicated
...

a violent thrust
a gasping breath
each escaping sound
lulling into a frenzied
...

a man whom i admire greatly
once told me
that a being like me
could never really truly love....

petal soft whispers.....
fingers lightly caressing
comfort in the form of touch
the music weaves
...

Act 2 (Wearing all your sadness as a fashion)
Scene 1 (Asphyxiate)

(THE LOVER is in the BEDROOM writing in a notebook and reading aloud)

(the LOVER and the LOVED are in the BEDROOM. the LOVED's eyes are red and puffy from crying)

the LOVER: So paint yourself up innocent and practice looking hurt, because it's 3 minuets to curtain and your starring int he role of victim. Don't act like you didn't notice
there's blood soaking through your make-up. Don't you try to tell me that you didn't see this coming and don't you try pretending that none of this was your fault.
