Embroidered in greed
And fabricated promises
Stitched by the tailor and seamstress

As I gaze onto the panorama of my backyard
I think to myself
How overwhelming it must be for one to fathom all the beauty in the world
Certainly a task of great exertion

In a world full of noise we sneer in the silence
The noise was engineered from fear of the silence
To avoid what we hear in the silence
Men are again boys when in sheer silence

There is so much wonder in silence
One’s mind truly wanders - effortless

They say time can heal all wounds
And mend a broken heart
It’s been two years… still too soon
Still too hard

I was born with a rare disease
The rarest of all diseases
Injection after injection so the pain would ease
