The stars in the sky are shining so bright,
You held me in your arms so warm and so tight...

Feeling your heartbeat,
Beating for Love along with mine...

I looked at you,
You gave me a wink and a sweet smile...

You pressed your lips on mine,
A kiss that gave shivers in my heart...

As I close my eyes,
And feel your tender lips on mine...

I wished for this night to last,
I wished for this moment never to end...

but the clock strikes at 12 midnight,
I saw that sad look in your eyes...

For at this moment you have to go,
Leaving me alone and cold in the night...

For you have to go and be with your wife,
A reality I can never deny...

As I watch you go away from my arms,
Teardrops came falling from my eyes...

For this is the night,
It all ends...
