A Pink Rose

I found her in the garden,
though in the back she tried to hide
where her absolute beauty would escape most men's eyes.
I stared at her in wonderment,
loosing a low sigh.
She was so unaware of her perfection
that it made me want to cry.
I admired her every pedal,
so radiant and bright,
but wondered how being insecure,
she could stand so high.
I couldn't say farewell to her,
so I'll take her home tonight,
and show my pink rose that she is perfect in my eyes.
