If Only Our Lives Were Like A Fairy Tale...

Once upon a time…
At least that’s how fairy tales might start...
If only our lives were similar to a fairy tale…
We wouldn’t need to cry anymore.

Met a girl, fell in love, and thought she was brilliant, beautiful, and strong.
But damn I was wrong.
Thought I pushed her away; I tried getting her back.
But she pushed me so far away.

I’m back on track; I won’t go back to that day.
I’ll keep moving forward, you’re forgettable.
It’s not impossible.
There are better people in the world, better than you.
You know it’s true.

High school is coming, meet some new people there.
Not gonna shed anymore tears.
It’s a new year.
Meet some hot girls; not gonna be player.
Maybe I’ll meet my soul mate?
That would be great; worth the wait.

Maybe at the end of the year, it’ll end like a fairy tale; with a happy ending.
But there’s still life after high school.
But if I have my girl with me, I know it’ll be fine.
Not gonna whine.
I’ll smile like how the sun shines.
