Numb

I am numb. I gave you all I had and you turned it to trash. All the love is drained from me but you still demand more. I force out every little drop I have left and give it to you. How foolish was I thinking that I would get the same I gave you in return. I remember those days when we were equal but now it all seems one sided. The moment I turn away you say something small that draws all my attention back to you. I don't even know who has the problem here, me for forgiving you, or you for everything you've done. You say you try your hardest to give me affection, but I don't see it. You say you still care for me. You say you're happy we're together, but I guess you've forgotten that actions speak louder than words.
