I began writting poetry in 2007 when the Lord laid it in my heart to pick up a pen and start writting. I currently work as a suspension advisor dealing with suspended driver's license. I enjoy spending time with my daughter and my family. I also love spendng time with God and allowing him to keep directing my path so I would be able to reach and complete my mission.)

The Storm

Thinking to you, Why does this happens to me?
I am tired of crying and seeking for answers
When I never come up with one
Why my life can' be filled with joy and fun?
Everyday in my life I see no way
From when morning arise to the set sun of the day
No lead to my destiny if I had one
With all of the storms that are surrounding me
A pity party is all that I do because nobody ever showed me
Love or how to make myself free
All around me is storms which always follow me
I try so many different things to make them disappear
Trying to chase them away from me
But who is going to help comfort me
I do not know which way to turn
All I know is that I am all alone
This storm detects my every move
Even when I try to get through it something pulls me back to it
I really want this storm to cross me over
I can not continue to live in misery
So I need a light to shine on me
All of the thundering and lighting that goes through my mind
Is a wonder of how the storm is never going to calm down
But I know a man that heard my cry and I know that he will bring me out
I am not going to give up on him because he sent his son for a time in need
I love the Lord and I know that he loves me
I will not let the devil take control of me
I will continue to pray and find a way
Jesus has my back and I will not allow my flesh to take me back
