The person that I was and the things I used to see
The way I used to live, it wasn't right at all

This world it is so big
And yet it is so small
We live together everyday
And still can't get along
...
Addicted to frustration
& the drama in our lives
Drained on aggravation
in the hopes of being right
...
I want to set you down
and tell you all my secrets.
From me to you I'll tell,
if only you would keep them.

When in a crowd I see,
you stand among the rest.

and my heart beats in my chest.

Sometimes
Sometimes I think of my life
And the way it used to be
The person that I was and the things I used to see
The way I used to live, it wasn't right at all
I used to blame myself for everybody's faults
When anyone would fall into the devils grasp
I used to close my eyes and say, 'Dear God don't let this last'
And even now it seems, like it was just a dream
I don't want to wake up
because in truth I might just scream.
