Of all the flowers I've ever seen,
The lovely rose holds the most mystery.
Almost queenly in majestic beauty,
A thing of perfected artistry.

Even in darkness
Light dawns for the upright
Though there be sadness
Hope is not far from sight.

Logic has no answers
For such inequality-
Why do good men suffer?
Just a painful reality.

Women change their minds
Like wind changes course
They easily leave behind
Theirs loves with no remorse.

Revenge on your mind will eat you up
Because Hatred never bore sweetened fruit.
Blood spilled on the ground won't be enough,
To pull that rotted tree from its root.

The heart is a storage house of feelings,
Various moods and thoughts that sway and move us.
Like a planter where seeds sprout to being
Seeds of Peace, of Love, or Hate, Disgust.

I've never known winter
Those chilly winds and bitter cold,
Days so freezing they hinder
The going out on slippery roads.

They called it 'puppy love'-
In childhood days, it comes.
A touch of moonbeams above
Born of stardust, it becomes
