Pretending its real intent
Even Truth, it prevents.

Created free
You and me.
And yet it carries
Responsibility.

Red poppy flowers
Sing in vibrant harmony
Of praise for being
Blessed with life just for today

Make me LORD, the willing clay
Your love had chosen from the mire,
By Your grace change me today
To Your purpose and desire.

You alone can replace
All the heaviness inside,
And You alone did embrace
All of us, removed the pride.

They've got some pizzazz
Something that's so mellow
Smooth wine, all that jazz
Touching soul real slow
...

Have you ever wondered about keys
How well they keep things locked up
And how they somehow dutifully
Hold our treasures long enough?

A Goal is the end point of all efforts
Perhaps the gold at rainbow's end,
It's the reason persistence sets forth
The aim and the prize one commends.
