Loving you so much it hurts me,
Then maybe my brain that's on top
Won't ache from such frivolity.

Is always filled within
By the purest color of His love
And not by the shallowness of skin.

Like a song that lingers on
A distinct melody of love
Haunts me so until the dawn
Fleeting like the flight of doves.

In worship my heart always sees,
The God of Love,
My God of Peace.

When oceans move to swallow
And mountains slide to bury
And all don't know just where to go
When Death's near you and me.

Jesus Christ is the Only Savior
He died for us sinners all
God's Only Son, our Redeemer
Forgiving those to Him who call
...

Search no more in human wisdom
Nor live in wasted emptiness
For when to Jesus you would come
In Him alone, is Happiness.

What can wealth give the lost soul?
His essence is drained in tormenting guilt
There is no peace, he's broken, not whole
Anguished in sin, drowned in its filth.

Angry goodbyes can break our hearts
Quick words released, they can resound

And open doors where Love departs
...

Earth shaking reveals the crust
Of frailties and all human claws
Self-preservation quite disgusts
And gods of flimsy faith have flaws.
