Dalia Abaza Poems
Who Am I?
Who am I? What do I want? Why life seems so wrong? Or is the wrong in me And I just can't see
God, Help me!
What is life doing to us? What is this kind of game? It is always breaking us And driving us to go insane
Do you remember?
Do you remember how we used to be? Hanging out or sitting under a tree Watching the stars shining above us Dreaming about tomorrow and what it will bring to us
Life is on your side
Sometimes life takes us to places We don't want to go Sometimes life takes us to places We wish we never went to

Who Am I?
Who am I? What do I want?
Why life seems so wrong?
Or is the wrong in me
And I just can't see
What is wrong about changing?
What is wrong about independence?
I see the world differently
I grew out of the shell I was living in
I changed drastically over the years
Didn't know I'll reach this street
I am lost I can't find my way back
Don't know if it is a dream or a fact
I don't fit any more
Don't feel it is my home
I need a new way of life
A way out of this strife
I need a relief, I need a break
Don't want to hurt anybody...
