Generations

We’re a generation of cowards,
supported by the false hope and pressure of society,
lied to by the future,
dying without dignity.

Placed on a pedestal, the spotlight,
judged without reason.
vanity being a traitor for those,
that are beautiful from within.

Burdened by the lack of prosperity.
A government with no due care or attention,
hidden behind capitalism and fascism.

Secrecy to the state, a whirlwind depression.
Broken, tattered and strewn,
to be stood on by our superior,
crushed into a reform that will never change.

Tenderly walking without treason, a state
intent on expansionism, not traditionalism.
All values and morals, sold for a stake
in a corrupt leadership, burning to change.

For what?
Statistics lie, hopes and dreams?
They die.
A perseverance for a brighter future,
where every politician lives in the shadows
of his predecessor.
