Danny Cleaveland Poems

The air-borne plane blasts,
The alive mortals see my last.
By the force, I am elected out.
With all my might I try to shout.
...

All around is blazing fire,
My need to get out is dire.
The curtains are licked by raw flames,
But I know its only me to blame.

Watery Grave Or Death By Drowning

The air-borne plane blasts,
The alive mortals see my last.
By the force, I am elected out.
With all my might I try to shout.
But sound doesn't escape my throat,
I am thrown down, I can't float.
I hit the salty sea at last,
I am swallowed by the waves quite fast.
Chances of living for me are slim,
I know that cause I can't swim.
I gasp for air, I take in water,
All hopes of living shatter.
The pressure increases on my chest,
I wriggle around in my haste.
I thrash around helplessly,
I suck in salt Brainlessly.
The pressure on me goes on increasing,
Till I terribly feel I am sinking.
I sink deeper in to the ocean,
Tired, I give up any kind of motion.
At last my failing arm drops,
My heart beating stops.
I am cradled to death by the ocean's lore.
I am dead before I reach the ocean floor.
I strike the seabed soundlessly,
My body lies there heedlessly.
Angels Descend from glorious heaven,
From the body my soul is taken.
I ascend over countless step,
Fate cannot really help.
I wonder If inspite of all my malice,
I am being taken to god's paradise.
