Nurture all,
So darkness

A butcherbird called in the warm even air
From a silky oak apex behind a closed store,
It sang with a clarity and honest sincerity
Heralding days ending all over the Ridge,
...
The dragon fled hells open gates to kill
Enacting its instinctive fatal drill,
Destroying all beneath denials lash
And in ruins bleached all opposed to ash.
...
Faint aeons dimmed over far spreading bly,
Soft even light blanketed ground and sky,
A kindness where both day and night relent
And now exhausted land lies calm and spent.

Each time Anzac Day returns
I listen to the history
Solemnly reflect
On the deeds and outcomes
...
A gradually warming atmosphere
Raised denial, consternation and fear
While some thought it didn’t exist
Science proved contrary to this,

From natures' seat the struggle's innate
But all are born innocent
With the capacity, but no knowledge of hate.
