I'm bathing in the light.

A leaf soaring in the wind,
So subtle under eagle's wing it hovers,
Playfully teasing amongst the clouds,
Directionless, lifeless, yet fair and proud

I've been faking laughter, faking joy,
Coasting through emotions since I was a boy,
But the truth, I feel nothing, no thoughts in my head,
My insides are empty.. No soul, I'm dead!

The winter means nothing,
I see you in the dark,
You illuminate my world,
Your eyes create a spark.
