As One We Sang Together Like The Morning Chorus.

As one we sang together like the morning chorus.
Each our day a busy, to’in and fro’in.
One job finished another we be late for
But, as one we sang together like the morning chorus.
Busier and busier we all became
Our worlds together but different paths we trod.
But, as one we sang together like the morning chorus.
One day our paths moved further away
One at a time but gradually a far
But, as one we sang together like the morning chorus.
Until our paths disappeared away
Our voices faint, our memories fading
But, as one we sang together like the morning chorus.
Isolated I walk, no paths do I see
The silence is deafening, the loneliness is true
Today, no songs I hear at the morning chorus
But one day, we will again sing together like the morning chorus.
