when we should let them go
and tell the special people in our lives
that we care for them so.

I hear violins playing
loves old sweet refrain.
I hear you calling out my name.
Life seems to be flown on angel wings

I sit here reading the letter
as my tears smudge the ink.
I can’t hold them back
no more than I could

I look out my window
and see the rain,
falling like teardropp
against my windowpane.

Never ask me why I became a writer
because I couldn’t tell you why.
I just pick up a pen
and the words just flow again

There are days when a song
will buzz around inside our head.
We will hear its tune everywhere we go.
We’ll sing it over and over
...

Yesterday I walked along a beach
no more than fifty miles away.
The sun was out and it was warm.
Got home late last night
...

They stand and look at things
with their eyes closed tight.
They claim to see just what others don’t,
branding someone a liar and deceiver.
...

Help me Mr Moonlight
with your light so bright,
guide my loved one to me,
so I can hold her in my arms tonight.
...

If I may stumble, Lord,
will you pick me up
and help me on my way.
