David Riecke Poems
With all the rain, the thunder, and lightning, The silence deepens and becomes so frightening. From the creaks and cracks and that whooshing sound, The thunderstorm has come around.
You keep asking what's on my mind, I keep saying you don't want to know. The stuff up there is a crime, It'd crush the world in one major blow.
Only time will tell, and fate will see, what comes around, and is meant to be. Dreams go up, in fiery ashes, past no more, except minor flashes.
Good or Bad Night
Cruel intentions, hung in suspension, Fate is turning, lost my pension. Where is now, pay attention, Her name is pain, please don't mention.

With all the rain, the thunder, and lightning,
The silence deepens and becomes so frightening.
From the creaks and cracks and that whooshing sound,
The thunderstorm has come around.
A peaceful calm, it brings to me,
Crashing, shaking, and breaking free.
Stress is gone, finally,
Peaceful sleep, comes to me.
Dreams of you, flooding in,
Something new, on the horizon.
Grandma i miss you, and grandpa too.
I havent a clue, what i'd do,
If i never had you....
I miss you guys,
and love you too!
