While talking to a gentleman, I could see his age upon his face

He looked so sad as he said, 'I remember those Good Old Days'
...

Suddenly it's cold outside, I've no strength to run, no place to hide
Pain is blowing it's icy wind
The walls of my heart are giving in
These bent up emotions so hard to contain
...

Did God have a purpose for putting me on earth
Is there for me a destany, a reason for my birth
Although in life the weeds are high and the roads very long
I can not stop to rest until I find where I belong
...

UP WITH OUR TROOPS
DOWN WITH THIS WAR
BIN LADEN IS DEAD
HE'S NO THREAT ANYMORE
...

I can't believe my kid's in jail,
I can't afford to pay his bail.
He did some bad, got caught with a gun,
But i still love him, 'cuz he's my son.

The Good Old Days

While talking to a gentleman, I could see his age upon his face

He looked so sad as he said, 'I remember those Good Old Days'

Our world today is so abused in so many awful ways

People now refuse to live by the commandments our God displays

Friendship now is just a word, good values most are gone

Some just take what they can get, then causally move on

Our children are all suffering from a lot of grown-up ways

I wonder what has happened to those so called Good Old Days

The homeless are quickly growing, death and crime rates are on the rise

Perhaps most of the human race could use changes in their lives

I really think our elderly could teach us all a lot

Maybe they could teach us the good morals we've forgot

Pain and anger, greed and sin are almost everywhere

Love, trust, and honesty now seem to be so rare

I wish that we could all unite and improve in most our ways

Lets see if we can bring back those so called Good Old Days
