The Fog

Driving carelessly into an unknown darkness
Old memories fading in the mist
I feel like an outsider
The only one able to escape the fog
Finding true happiness in a sad world
On the outskirts of the universe
I prance feeling every kind of joy
But then
I look down on the mound of grey
That use to be my home
And I can’t stop the tears
Rushing down my cheeks
I miss the ones I love
I love the ones I miss
Then I realize
The only reason I was able to escape
To find my calling in life
my one true love
the one thing im good at
and i think ive found it
