I feel the power of your stare and I know there is strength there.

A million stars could never be as bright as your mind.
A million birds could never sing as you sing.
A million pieces of chocolate could never be as sweet as your lips.

Hands are trembling.
Palms are sweaty.
Temperature is rising.
Pupils dilate.

I feel alive and free from the throes of my addiction.
I was able to face my past and present afflictions.
This place I visited was just a leg of my adventure.
Many more to come, these places I will venture.

I feel trapped
restless, watching, vigilant, fierce
