Desiree Aponte Biography

Before we begin, it is necessary for us all to remember a simpler time, a simpler world when art meant everything and life was our canvas. Desiree Adele Aponte was ejected from the womb, an artist an aristocrat and ocular scholar on The 7th of March 1982 A.D. in Bell Gardens CA.  Desiree was raised in a rich and inspired world, one that now acts as a creative conduit between her personal expressionism. However this talent was something later discovered during a time of self-discovery, preservation and bill collecting. In 2004 Desiree moved to the lonely city of Everett, WA that lies between the towns of Hope and Change. Working as an agent to the irresponsible and being surrounded by the conveniences of endless mini marts and noxious fumes, Desiree found clarity and herself. During a pure moment of self-reflection, Desiree took her leap through the looking glass and found herself surrounded with worlds that were strung together by architects such as Dr. Seuss, Tim Burton and Salvador Dali. It was here that Desiree discovered her own ability to concoct strange new horizons and found it intoxicating. With this new discovery, Desiree sought to perfect her own worlds using lush expressions and dynamic concepts to bring new depth into her own life. She found herself surrounded with proof of a new purpose like road signs to a new life on-ramp. Desiree spent the next 8 Earth Revolutions curing, inventing and perfecting her own techniques and representations, and eventually learning to he happy with them. What you will witness is the result of her altered state, her personal completeness and love of art and writing. It is in these signs that you will find Desiree; you will find her memories, her tales and the path she walked to get there. So feel free to step through the looking glass.)

March Hare Mercenary

Just like a March Hare sitting in the shaded and obscured.
Obsessing over thee uninvited and the deformed.
I know you want to run away,
And It's killing me to watch you stay,
But how can you ever really learn.

The disease in you veins run colder and deeper than before.
Your red queen has second guessed the nature of who you ever were.
The Mercenary you've become,
Destroyed the life that you once loved.
Her crown in hand is as heavy as her heart.

Melting in the distance is the friendship and the love you need the most.
The lies and all your secrets have blinded you from seeing just how close.
Pull the knife that's killing you.
Everyone knows the truth.
You know to well what you have to do.
