Shadows

A tear for the broken soul
Stories of the deep dark shadow
following her
stalking her
untold.

Never opened her eyes
to see the truth of lies
scattered pictures of memories
left
for it to be

Never realises her words
her words told by the lips
narrated by the heart
whispered by an angel
innocent words
became silent
like wind.

Like a mirror
reflection
never means perfection

Never realised
she killed her half inside
slowly fading away
by the words that were left to be said

She begs for the shadows to leave
Shadows never do
They are there
Stalking
Lingering
But never fading.

She left instead.
